আলাদীনের দৈত্য

আলানের মন মেজাজ খারাপ ; কত দিন ধরে ভাবছি একটা ব্র্যান্ড নিউ স্মার্ট মোবাইল কিনব কিন্তু হাজার দুই টাকার অভাবে কিনতে পারছি না । কোনোমতে হাজার তিনেক টাকার বন্দোবস্ত করেছি । সবাই যে হারে স্মার্ট মোবাইল কিনতেসে  দেখে নিজেকে খুব অভাগা মনে হয় । ক্লাসের ফেলটু মোবারক মিয়া পর্যন্ত স্মার্ট মোবাইল  কিনে গত রাতে সেলফি তুলে ফেসবুকে  ট্যাগ দিসে “নাও আই হেব নয়া মুবাইল” ইংরেজির কি ছিরি অপদার্থটার ; মার্ক জুকারবারগ দেখলে নির্ঘাত হার্ট ফেল করত । এইসব ভেবে হাসি ও পাচ্ছিল আবার নিজের  চরম দরিদ্রতাও  মনকে খোঁচাচ্ছিল । আবার দুই দিন পরে টেস্ট পরীক্ষা , এইসব চিন্তায় পড়ালেখা চাঙ্গে উঠছে ।গত সেমিস্টারে  রেজাল্ট তলায় গিয়ে ঠেকছে; এইচ এস সি তে ৫ না পাইলে এলাকায় মান ইজ্জত কিছু থাকবে না।  প্রতি দিন ভাবি আর না আজ থেকে পড়া শুরু করমু কিন্তু কি ইয়ের কি । ভাবনা খালি ভাবনা চিন্তা পর্যন্ত থাকে। সুরমা হোটেলের সামনে বসে বিমর্শ মুখে চা আর বিস্কুট খাইতাসি।  আর ভাবতাসি ক্যামনে টাকাটা যোগার করি । রাস্তার পাশে দুইটা বিড়াল বিন্দাস ঘুরে বেড়াইতাসে আর মিউ মিউ করতাসে দেখে আফসোস হইল শালার বিলাই হইলে ভালো ছিল কোন পরীক্ষা নাই, টেনশন নাই । পাশে বইসা দুইটা পোলা চায়ের দোকানে কাজ করতাসে আর গল্প করতাসে।

পিচ্চি ১ ; জানস গত দুইদিনে ৫০ টাকা কামাইসি মাম্মা । আর ৫০ হইলে ই মুরগীর বিরিয়ানি ; পিচ্চির চোখে মুখে এক তৃপ্তির হাসি। আরেক পিচ্চি মনে হয় ওইটার বড় ভাই বলল

পিচ্চি ২;  হুম দূর যা । পকর পকর করতাসস। বাকি দুই দিন খাবি কি ।একবেলা বিরিয়ানি খাইয়া কি দুই দিন চলবো ?

পিচ্চি ১ ;চলবো চলবো. দুই না খাইলে মইরা জামু নি .আইছা.কিন্তু হোটেল ওয়ালা যদি ঢুকবার না দেয়.

পিচ্চি ২; দিব না  মানে অর বাপে দিব  অই ব্যাটা মাগনা  খামু নি.টেকা দিমু না.মামা কিনু এক প্লেট দিয়া ত এক বেলাই জাইত না.

পিচ্চি ১ ;আমি কিন্তু মুরগির বড় পিচ তা খামু .আগেই কইলাম. ৫০ এর মাঝে ৩২ তেহা আমার .

 পিচ্চি ২; আইছা।।খাইস নি ।আগে ৫০ তেহা কামাইয়া লই  । কাম কর.

পিচ্চি ১ ; ভাইজান.। থাক বাদ দেইন.। বিরিয়ানি সামনের মাসে খাইবাম নে। এই মাসের শেষে বাড়ি জাইবাম ।কত দিন আফা রে দেহি না। তার পোলাডা মনে হয় এহন হাঁটবার পারে ।

বড় ভাই নীরব কিছুক্ষণের জন্য ...মনে হয় প্রিয় বড় বোনের কথা মনে পড়ে গেছে ।  দারিদ্র্যের কষাঘাত তাদের ভাইবোনের বন্ধন থেকে বিছিন্ন করেছে নিয়ে এসেছে শত মাইল দূরে ।

তার পর দূর ব্যাটা ওই দিন হইল এহন হাঁটবার পারবনি ? এরপর কিছুক্ষণ নীরবতা ।

পিচ্চি ১ ; কত বড় হোটেল দেখসস ... কত হাজার টাঁকা জানি লাগসে বানিইতে ...

পিচ্চি ২; দূর বলদ... হাজার ক কত কুটি টাঁকা লাগসে... মুরগিডি  দেখসস নি... গিরিল না কিতা কয়... একটা ৩২০ তেহা... পুরা মুরগিডারে আগুনে পুরাইয়া লাল বানিয়া হেলায় ...হুম ... এইরম ত হাজার মুরগি আছে ...। চিন্তা কর কত দাম হইব ... আর কত কিছু আছে... ভাত , গরু, ফান্তা , দই না জানে আর কত কি ...।

আমি চুপচাপ সব শুনছিলাম । আর অবাক হয়ে ভাবসিলাম হাইরে মানুষ। অবাক পৃথিবী । কারও দু বেলা ভালো মন্দ খাবার ই জুটে না আবার কেউ ব্র্যান্ড নিউ মোবাইলের চিন্তায় বিভোর ।অনেক গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তি  দয়া দেখিয়ে বলে ওদের জন্য কিছু করা উচিৎ কিন্তু উচিৎ পর্যন্ত বলে এই দায় কেউ এড়াতে পারে না একটা কথা কিন্তু সত্য দয়াতে মন ভরে , কিন্তু পেটতো আর ভরে না ।

এই সময় ছোট্ট পিচ্চিটা কইল । বাই কি ভাবেন। চা  দিমু নাকি আরেকটা ।

আমার চিন্তার ছন্দ পতন হল। একটানে চা  শেষ করে উঠে দাঁড়ালাম । পকেটে হাত দিয়ে দেলাম আছে শ তিনেক টাকা খচখচ করে উঠলও । কইলাম তগর এহন কোনও কাম আছে।

পিচ্চি ১ ;  না বাইই । কেন বাই। বিরি আন মু ...বেনসন না গললিফ ?    

না বিরি লাগব না.। আয় আমার লগে ।  দুইটারে নিয়া সুরমাতে ঢুকলাম । ওয়েটার আড়চোখে আমাদের দেখছিল নিশ্চয় কোন ঝামেলার ধান্দা করছিলো কিন্তু আমার খোবরা মার্কা চেহারা দেখে মনে হয় কিছু বলার সাহস পেল না । আমি অই দুই টারে কইলাম ক কি খাবি আইজকা । মামা দুইদা চিকেন লই আস আর তিনটা ডিউ . জলদি

পিচ্চি দুইটা মোটামুটি হতবম্ব। আড়চোখে একজন আর একজনকে দেখসে ......কিছু ফিস ফাস বলসে..আমি ঠিক শুনতে পেলাম না

একটু পর বিরিয়ানি হাজির ...।।এই বার দুই নন্দপাল এর মুখে হাসি ...।দুজন আমার চোখের দিকে তাকিয়ে অনুমুতির অপেক্ষায় . আমি বললাম খা ব্যাটা ......

আমি মন্ত্র মুগ্ধ হয়ে ওদের খাওয়া দেখছিলাম ।

খাওয়া শেষে পিচ্চি টা জিজ্ঞাস করলো ভাই আপনের নাম কি। কিতা করেন

আমি মজা করে কইলাম আলাউদ্দিন খান আলান ...।।

আইছাআ মিনা কার্টুনের আলাদীনের দৈত্য । আজিব বেফার.। আজিব বেফার.।

আমি হাসতে হাসতে শেষ হয়ে গেলাম।বললাম  শেষ পর্যন্ত আমারে  দৈত্য বানাইলি ব্যাটা । ওঁরাও  হাসা হাসি শুরু করে দিল। হোটেলের মানুষ জন আমাদের কে কৌতূহল এর সাথে দেখছিল । পাগল ভাবছিল কিনা কে জানে ।

মাঝে মাঝে অন্যদের ছোট ছোট স্বপ্ন পুরন করতে ভালই লাগে... নিজেকে অনেক ক্ষমতাবান আলাদীনের দৈত্য  বলে মনে হয় । ভালই লাগে আমার মত ক্ষুদ্র সাধারন মানুষের  কিছুক্ষণ কিছু মানুষের কাছে  আলাদীনের দৈত্য হতে একটু হয়ত বা কিছুক্ষণ কারও  মুখে হাসি ফোটাতে ।কিছু কিছু সময় দূর থেকে বিচার বা সহানুভূতি দেখানোর  চেয়ে নিজের সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী এগিয়ে যাওয়া হাত  বাড়িয়ে দেয়াটা বেশি জরুরী । কারও কান্না দেখে “ইস  কি কষ্ট ? বলার চেয়ে বা সব কিছু সরকার আর প্রশাসন উপর চাপিয়ে না দিয়ে বা না দেখার ভান করার” চেয়ে তার পাশে দাড়িয়ে তার অশ্রু ভেজা চোখ মোছা প্রকৃত মনুষ্যতের পরিচয় বলে আমি মনে করি  । আজ একটা জিনিস স্পষ্ট বুঝসি যে সব সময় নেতানেত্রীদের ঘাড়ে সব দোষ চাপিয়ে  দিয়ে দেশের সবার দুঃখ মোচন সম্ভব না, যার যার সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী কাজ করে গেলে আমাদের দেশের গরিব অভাগা মানুষ গুলোর দুঃখকে আলাদীনের দ্বৈতের মত আমরাই পূরণ করতে পারি আর আজ থেকে যদি সবাই একটু একটু করে তাদের স্বপ্ন পূরণ শুরু করি তবে  দেশটাকে  সুন্দর স্বপ্নের বানানো কোন ব্যাপারই না  ।
